Education: I graduated from Green Forest High School in 2008 and obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Arkansas Tech University in 2012. I started teaching in August 2012.
Personal: I married my husband, Seth Villines, in July of 2012 and we welcomed a baby girl, Avery Lynn, into this world in April of 2014 followed by another baby girl, Emma Kay, in December 2016. In 2020 we had our son, Boone Michael.
Expectations: In my classroom we strive for excellence every day. I expect the students to give me nothing less than their very best. We will have fun this year, but please do not mistake fun for easy. We will work and it will be challenging. As a reflection of that it is important to realize that every grade a student receives will be earned by that student. I promise to do my part encouraging them in the classroom; please do your part encouraging them at home. I also expect you as a parent to keep me informed on any situations you feel necessary for me to know about, both in the home and at school. I encourage you to contact me through email ([email protected]) or the school office (479-665-2835). Please, please, please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you for your time; and most importantly thank you for entrusting me with your child. I promise not to betray that trust. Everything I do this year will be in the best interest of my students.
